3 Angels Message

When reading the 3 Angels Message - what message do you get? For me I read that I am suppose to do the MOST important task of being a 'messenger' for Christ. What more important task is there. I believe that Ellen White also expressed that this task was above all work. Even the work of a prophet.

A prophet is simply one who speaks for God, ie, a messenger for God.

The third angel of Rev 8: is the third trumpet angel. It is popular of our theology the trumpets have all sounded but I don't see that. I do not believe they can start the trumpets until Jesus comes to the Golden Altar and gives the signal for that to begin!

Re 8:5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.

Re 8:6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

Who is this angel that takes the censer and gives this signal?,

Re 8:3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.

OK, who is it that stands at the Golden Altar before God as our mediator? The Fathers Angel, Jesus Christ.

The trumpets in the type here on earth did not happen long before the day of atonement, but just before.

So why are we believing the first trumpet started around two thousand yrs ago.

Yes, I merely want to tell you, I find these last trumpets before the end are about to begin.

Notice if you will that reading chap. 8: of Rev each trumpet gets exceedingly stronger and the last three are WOES!

The woes begin in chapter 9: and need to bring out, these trumpets are the first seven plagues!

Re 9:20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:

The next verse implies there is 7 first plagues,

Re 15:1 ¶ And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.

Now you will notice the woes are in play in Rev 11: and this should tell you something about our accounting this was fulfilled in the French revolution.

Re 11:14 ¶ The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.

Now has the third woe happened yet? That is has the seventh angel sounded his trumpet yet? No! all things of salvation are finished when it is!

Then, the seven last plagues no doubt upon all who would not give up in full surrender to right and love?

I am not going to contend with any over the view I presented here, it is for your consideration, take it as you will.

The three angels' messages are to be combined, giving their threefold light to the world. In the Revelation, John says, "I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory."... This represents the giving of the last and threefold message of warning to the world. {Mar 173.4}

Revelation 18 points to the time when, as the result of rejecting the threefold warning of Revelation 14:6-12, the church will have fully reached the condition foretold by the second angel, and the people of God still in Babylon will be called upon to separate from her communion.

This message is the last that will ever be given to the world; and it will accomplish its work. When those that "believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness" .....

(2 Thessalonians 2:12), shall be left to receive strong delusion and to believe a lie, then the light of truth will shine upon all whose hearts are open to receive it, and all the children of the Lord that remain in Babylon will heed the call: "Come out of her, my people" (Revelation 18:4). {Mar 173.5}

Good Question EC. The answer is as varied as the individual. Too many ways to even start to mention.

The latter rain will be poured out and the message will be given by the ones filled by Him.

We are to ask Him to tell us!

"Day by day God's faithful, commandment-keeping people are to become better prepared to let their light shine forth amid the moral darkness of a world that is rapidly filling up its cup of apostasy, and becoming as it was in the days of Noah. Knowing the time, we are to set in operation every agency that can be employed in doing missionary work for Christ. The great aim of those who profess to believe the third angels' message, should be to bring all their powers into active service in the cause of God. {LLM 241.5}

Not all are called to engage in the same line of labor, but to every man and woman who enters the service of Christ, are given responsibilities to bear, and a special work to do. My brethren and sisters, Christ sends you this message, "Search the Scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life; and they are they which testify of Me." Humble your hearts before God, and seek counsel of Him who never makes a mistake. Under His guidance you will never go astray. You need to seek as you have never sought before for an understanding of the word of God. Pray that the Lord will open your understanding, and turn (425) your whole heart to the One who has bought you with an infinite price. You are Christ's purchased possession. Ask Him to tell you what He would have you do. {LLM 241.6}
