Dealing with people of other faiths

It depends.

In the pagan community one is constantly in contact with people of other faiths. Completely different traditions, practices, deities etc. For a huge percentage of the time everyone respects each others beliefs. I try to learn something from them. I think everyone has something to teach.

When it comes to people of Abrahamic religions....... well I try to be respectful, I try to understand where they are coming from. Sometimes though the ignorance and bigotry that some show towards the umbrella term my beliefs fall under get very frustrating and I guess I can get a little sarcastic and testy. In ways its hard to deal with it because there is a lot of personal hurt involved, cause its a religious ground that caused a lot of pain and a lot of problems for me. But still I think everyone has something to teach.

Atheists I just try to discuss stuff with. Most of them have a pretty solid scientific basis for their beliefs and one can learn a whole lot from them.

Sometimes, when you find that you can no longer refute their logic/reasonings, you convert and join them.
