The link I posted was broken, which makes the thread kind of pointless. Not generally a fan of deleting threads but I also thought it might be needlessly provocative (although the intent was playful), so for both reasons I'm deleting - and am very happy if the mods take it down.

It's a bit of fun rather than a serious promotion/proposal, and if the thread goes silly I will be the first to request that it be deleted.

Don't drink beer.

I couldn't get in, I needed a member id, etc. Anyway, I don't drink beer, hate the taste and smell. The only time I had one was way back, lol, when serving my country. I had a run in with an officer and was given a article 13. I was given 2 weeks no pay, 2 weeks restricted to quarters after work and 2 weeks of extra duty. They had me getting the grass with a pair of scissors one day and it was really hot. I got really thristing, I knew my roommate had beer in his locker, and the water fountain was a ways off, so I grabbed his beer and drank it. Other than that, I've never had another beer. I have drank rum n cokes; 7n7s, etc., but have not had a drink in many, many years. Don't miss it and don't really care if others drink unless they are hurting themselves or those around them. Don't take this the wrong way, I'm not trying to be critical.
