Hot rod show is near our place, so we'll go check that out for a while. Sunday I'll have to work (marking some assignments) but Monday Suzie and I are off to meet my best friend from high school, Cam, and his wife Jenny at the Byron Bay Bluesfest. We'll see lots of bands, but I'm particularly looking forward to Mavis Staples, Bonnie Raitt and Paul Simon. Quote Truth is important

Moderators Kevin H Posted March 30, 2013 Moderators Posted March 30, 2013 At Sabbath School tomorrow I'll be showing some slides that deal with Jesus' death and resurection, closing with the magic illusion "The Empty Tomb" from Dock Haley's Gosple Magic. This will be my 3rd year I've had a special illusion for Redemption weekend. 2 years ago I did "He is Risen" last year "The Cleansing Cross" Then it's church, lunch and work. Sunday I may visit the church of a pastor who gave the funeral for a friend of the family. Might do the empty tomb there. Quote

Saw this after Sabbath is over... Just the usual for our church: Friday night dress rehearsal (Pizza included!), followed by two performances of our choir/drama presentation on the Easter Story (Worship Hour, then at a local assisted living facility nearby). Tomorrow night will be Sunday dinner with my sister and our combined families out in the country...with a traditional egg hunt for the kids, and a not-so conventional confetti egg "hunt"(/massacre) for the older kids/adults. After that, we will be shaking confetti out of our hair and clothes for an hour... Talked about Jesus coming to the earth and taking our sins. Talked about how the trial was probably only before 24 Saduceen priests with probably no Pharicees pressent. How there probably was not a huge mob yelling "crucify him" that the word translated "Multitude" for calling "Crucify him" is a mispelling of the word for "Multitude" but that the Bible writers keep going between the correct spelling and this consistant incorrect spelling. And how we now know that the misspelling is the correct spelling of a Hebrew word that does not mean "Multitude" but "Those at hand" probably only the 24 Saducees. The Daughters of Jerusalem means the common people or the multituds. There were 23 or 24 people yelling "crucify him" and the large number was crying for him. Then moved into the illustration Quote
