Members phkrause Posted March 30, 2013 Members Posted March 30, 2013 This is interesting as well. http://religiousliberty.tv/defense-of-marriage-act-hearing-analysi.html Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. olger Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Where is the historical, scientific, and experiential proof that same-sex marriage would serve the society into which it was incorporated? Unfortunately, burning sulphur rained down on the evidence. Quote "Please don't feed the drama queens.."

Unfortunately, burning sulphur rained down on the evidence. Obviously none needed, they know better than everyone else! ClubV12 Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 There is a lot of speculation and analyzing of which way the court may be leaning. But we have seen that often the analysts miss the outcome by a mile! The Justices ask lots of questions, make lots of comments, I've given up trying to determine how they might rule based on that! They can change their mind very quickly as the draft of the opinion is reviewed, rewritten, reconsidered a number of times. They will meet several times in private, just them, no one else. Oh to be a fly on the wall for THOSE meetings! Who knows? Thats my analysis on what they will rule! :) Quote
olger Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 Yep. I wonder if it will be like last year, when in late June John Roberts made a watershed poor decision that will have consequences until the end of time. Quote "Please don't feed the drama queens.."
ClubV12 Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 Roberts is an excellent example of "you just don't know, how it's gonna go". So, the excessively obese lady won't be singing anytime soon? :) Quote
