One Shabbos morning, as the Epstein family is walking home from shul after a great service led by their rabbi, 9-year-old Shmuel says to his father David, "When I grow up, dad, I've decided to be a rabbi."

"Very nice," says David, "But last week, you wanted to be a football player.”

"I know I was," replies Shmuel, "but during the shul service I realized – that I would be going to shul every Shabbos for the rest of my life – and that's a long time. So I came to the conclusion that it would be much better to be standing up and shouting than just sitting down and listening."
