No, the actual ones who want to take them, would like to not have to send the army or the FBI etc, when they come for you. They would like to be a able to send a cop or two, with 6 bullets each, and no real need for backup. Quote

It has been argued here and by liberal politicians that the 2nd amendment does not say what we have always believed it said.That it does not give the american citizen the "right to bear arms" So why repeal something that is not in their way to begin with? Habius corpus is gone! Torture is allowed, wire taping without a warrant is allowed. The NSA admit to the goal of storing all information.
