I intended to talk to him and get aquainted with him for just like over an hour....but danged if we didn't hit it off and I spent nearly 5 hours with the guy... Oh, and if you didn't know, Hope TV is generated at the GC...nice set...And Gail, I heard about your fo-pah [sp]...hehehehe.... There is a wealth of information at the GC office...If you guys ever want info as to what works best on evangelism, this place has it...and how to do Ice Breakers with non-adventists are there as well... I highly rate this place as a 7 out of 10 as a place to visit for Adventists... PS= Wilson was not there...apparently he heard that I was coming with a petition and took off....and his secretary wasn't there either.... PPSS- Tom's secretary is moving to Oregon when she retires....[at least, I'm pretty sure she is gonna move there]. No, Saul started out doing what was needed, but than he started relying on himself instead of God. As far as Wilson, the drury(sp) is still out. Besides who are we to determine if his choice is doing his job or not? Personally haven't seen him do anything that has gone against the Bible. While the GC President may make the Church look good...or foolish...in front of the world - it is the "mere" local Conference Presidents that really must be watched in trying to get behind one's back... For the infantryman on the line, it's the "captains of fifties", not the field marshals, that affect the soldier's life the most. In light of that fact, especially not remembering all that Elder Wilson said, seeing my stopped up sink being cleared without the aid of a plumber over the week, being the highlight of the week, there will come a time I believe in the not too distant future, when small victories like that in answer to prayer, will be seen as reasons to believe God still reigns though much weightier issues are pressing down on our daily existence, some as a result of our own lack in being available to spread the Word, others as a result of being on the cutting edge of the pursuit of spreading the good news. I can imagine through Christ that it is there. and then also the prayers of every level of leadership down to Sabbath School leaders, and praying families and friends in the family of God. we cannot imagine the power of the intercession of Christ for all people and those who are resisting selfishness. But I can faintly imagine it for those far away, and really see it near. Every divinely inspired prayer comes through Christ's prayers. Quote deb Love awakens love. "feeling better"??? The only time I felt bad was when the doctors gave me medicine.... This is a true statement.....There is just one insy tinesy problem with this statement...it lacks a very prominate trueth....it is based upon a falsehood...denial... The truth of the matter is that I never did feel bad...but thru the use of modern medical science, there was this spot in a crucial place that needed to be attended to...perhaps I am being deceived, since I don't feel bad...
