I heard about this on local radio yesterday afternoon and couldn't believe it. The indoctrination of our kids by progressives/socialists/marxists in the public school system is going way too far. This teacher is giving out lessons on the 2nd amendment that say it does not give US citizens the right to bear arms.

The teacher was categorically false in each of her four assertions.

If someone is against firearm usage and self defense, that is their perspective, and their right to an opinion.

To purposefully misinform and knowingly promote false information...she does not have that right. Not even her role as a public teacher gives her that right.

As for the superintendent's statement that the lesson was no longer taught "at that school", as a concerned parent, I'd be wanting that lesson pulled from every school in his jurisdiction, not just fro the school my child attended.

Blessings,

"As iron sharpens iron, so also does one man sharpen another" - Proverbs 27:17

"The offense of the cross is that the cross is a confession of human frailty and sin and of inability to do any good thing. To take the cross of Christ means to depend solely on Him for everything, and this is the abasement of all human pride. Men love to fancy themselves independent. But let the cross be preached, let it be made known that in man dwells no good thing and that all must be received as a gift, and straightway someone is offended." Ellet J. Waggoner, The Glad Tidings

Blessings,

Especially in her role as a teacher. She does not have the right to teach utter falsehood about our country and its laws and origins. She has a responsibility to teach the truth. A legal one, and a moral one.
