Great video, the best part, was nobody blowing there horns, but than who knows. They put in new background music, so maybe they took them out, but it didn't seem like anyone was. That probably could never happen here in the US, they blow there horns at the school buses for stopping to pickup the kids.

Those words of Mr. Rogers are speaking of the sort of thing that Phillip Yancey spoke of following 9/11. Years before he had written the book "Where Is God When It Hurts?" So people were asking him that question, "So where is God in all of this?" His response was in watching all the helpers at ground zero he realized that those acts of kindness in helping the victims were the work of God. We are His hands and feet. That reminds me of the Audio Adrenaline song, "Hands and Feet".

These kind of stories echo the words of Jesus that it is through those small acts of loving kindness that distinguish people who belong in his kingdom. I believe that these simple acts of loving-kindness are the sign and seal of God, marking those to be set free for the final Promised Land.

Ig, I know you serious doubt the existence of God, but these kinds of things are to many the clear evidence that there must be a God that Created mankind to care for one another and not simply to survive by being the strongest and most fit. It is the stuff of my belief in God. It shows us what the real image of God as a reflection of who made us, why and even in a very small way, how.

there is two kinds of power int he world.

the bombing placed those two kinds of power side by side.

the power of violence and destruction, and the power of tenderness and saving life.

but there is a form of evil that is seductive and "wonderful" while it robs you. it can provide a form of power and a form of light, but still grips you and holds you tight in pleasing and glorifying self.

it can make it more challenging and more confusing to discern God. There is no love and no sweetness like a seductive predator who is praying on Children. But so evil. this is a kind of violence and destruction too. it is the power of a lie.

if you do not think there is a God, look at the power of the lie, the powerful of lust to disregard humanity. the power of greed, the power of unreined human desire to wreak destruction and havoc. Then look at the power of purity, kindness, forgiveness, grace, hope, honesty, self control, peace, and wisdom to grow healthy relationships, wholeness, achievements to better the lot of humanity. There you will see wells in Africa, habitat for humanity, special Olympics, food banks, free medical clinics, education and emergency services for people in life and death distress, wrap around care, loving parents.

stealing- restoring

lies- truth

adultery- faithfulness

exploitation- provision

competition that tears down- building up each other.

taking life neglecting life- protecting life providing needs for life

bullying- caring for others.

I think that's just a very black-and-white way of seeing the world. I don't see any reason to think that both "good" and "evil" stem directly from human nature.

Whether or not the God of the Christians (or any other god) is real, doing good is never a bad (or even a neutral) thing. Whether we do good as our Christian witness, our Muslim duty, our own efforts to obtain good karma, or just cuz it's "the right thing to do", blessing others with good and kind deeds will never go out of style.

One of the important things about having a hope for our future in God's internal kingdom, is the necessity of depending upon the blood of Jesus and His promises being fulfilled as a result of His undeserved gifts.

It is registered in the Word that all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags, yet also pointing out that we will be known by our fruits. Here's something I know you'll appreciate as it comes from someone we had the pleasure of becoming acquainted with when he was visiting from Africa in pursuit of agricultural practices he could take back to his community in Kenya. The thrill we get from being able to help a personal friend, in the name of Jesus, has no equal.

When here he said he knew of villages on each side of where he lives in the country, that have no adults but only young children to run their community. It makes this promise below come extremely close to home.

Do you know why the world temperatures are rising rapidly and falling drastically? I guess, it is due to climate change and global warming! Here in Kenya we are currently experiencing extremely heavy rains that have caused havoc and agony to many families. Floods, land/mud slides, damaged roads, uprooted trees, damaged houses… the list is so much. The fields that we planted in March are totally destroyed by floods, people can’t move due to broken bridges and damaged roads. What are the lessons for all these???.... Indicators of an end for this sad and miserable world.

Thanks once more for your help in time, putting it for 3 day delay could have added just a small significant difference that is equivalent to 3 loafs of bread. But anyway we are satisfied and appreciate the amount sent. Thanks too for keeping us in prayers and be blessed.

So she deserves it more than anyone.” WTHR repored that Miss Jo does volunteer work in the community and likes to keep a low profile, which may explain why CeCe barely had a chance to say thank you. “She signed the receipt and walked out the door,” said CeCe adding “Miss Jo, if you're watching, I love you and thank you very much!"
