joeb Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 I was taking Bear for a walk in town so he could do his duty after being shut up in the car for a couple of hours. I met this little white-haired lady coming the opposite way down the sidewalk. When we came face-to-face she stopped and asked me, Are you a Christian? When I answered, Yes, she said, I knew it by the glow on your face. She then asked me what church I attended and I told her. She replied, Oh, that's a very good church. Then she asked me to pray for her and her sons. I asked her why and she said, You see, I have this problem with mental illness.... Liz Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 That's funny, but I would take it that she could tell you were a praying Christian even without the mental illness. joeb Posted May 24, 2013 Author Posted May 24, 2013 I thought this was so funny, because of the irony between her words of praise and her admission of mental illness, that I just had to post this. I do have this lady in my prayers, and I would ask you to place her in yours too. Who knows? God may just decide to work a miracle. It's definitely within His power to do so.
