Here is the news item which prompted this discussion:

Division Leader in Africa Voices Support for Extreme Anti-Homosexuality Law

Issues:

* How should Adventists support government, if at all? eg. Smoking legislation, liquor licensing, legality of homosexuality, etc.

* One seasoned Adventist advocates an educational role without endorsement of any legislation.
