Ted Oplinger Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Still praying for a safe trip and return for you and your family. Blessings, Quote "As iron sharpens iron, so also does one man sharpen another" - Proverbs 27:17 "The offense of the cross is that the cross is a confession of human frailty and sin and of inability to do any good thing. To take the cross of Christ means to depend solely on Him for everything, and this is the abasement of all human pride. Men love to fancy themselves independent. But let the cross be preached, let it be made known that in man dwells no good thing and that all must be received as a gift, and straightway someone is offended." Ellet J. Waggoner, The Glad Tidings "Courage is being scared to death - and saddling up anyway" - John Wayne "The person who pays an ounce of principle for a pound of popularity gets badly cheated" - Ronald Reagan
Members phkrause Posted June 18, 2013 Author Members Posted June 18, 2013 dgrimm my Mom lives in Deltona, where I also lived till we had to move back to Massachusetts last year. Update: stayed at Ormond Beach Thursday night. friday we drove to Deltona and visited with my Mom before going to Titusville. Saturday we drove up to Deltona and went to the Debary Orange City SDA church, which at this time is still our home church. After Church the car wouldn't start. Had to call AAA to tow car to a shop. Fuel pump went. Praise the Lord we broke down at a safe place! For Sunday, Fathers Day, we went out to the Olive Garden at Cocoa Beach. Picked up the car today and drove back to Titusville, after forking over a ton of money. :( Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
Members phkrause Posted June 28, 2013 Author Members Posted June 28, 2013 Well our two weeks in Titusville are over tomorrow. We will be going up to my Moms for the next week + before returning home. Will probably not be on as much at her house. She doesn't have any internet access. There is someone that has wireless access in one of the homes next to her, will try to find out who and see if I can get on as a guest. If not, I'll have to go to the MacDonalds about a mile away or the Panera Bread down I-4, about 10 miles away. If not I wont be on for a week or so. Anyway thanks for the prayers. Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
