nuff sed Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 If you would like your club to be really unique at the next Pathfinder Camporee I have a suggestion. How would you like to arrive with no tents but only a big pile of cardboard? I have in my file the plans to make Geodesic Domes out of heavy-duty carboard (like what refrigerator cartons are made of). For several weeks prior to the camporee your club activity will be centered around the gathering of cardboard from various large-appliance vendors and measuring and cutting out the triangles for assembly at the site. It would be quite a sight to see your club at the camporee with all the decorated domes instead of the same old tents.(You paint them with waterproof latex paint) If you think that this idea would interest you just send me a legal-size self-addressed stamped envelope and I will be glad to send you a copy of the plans. Dottie Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 Boy, that sounds like a lot of fun! Too bad I'm not an active Pathfinder... Quote
