Moderators Jeannieb43 Posted March 2, 2012 Moderators Posted March 2, 2012 Well, at least all across the U.S. Midwest the first day of March received terrible devastation from tornadoes. So that should mean [according to the old wives' tale] that March will go out like a lamb! [Of course, in Sunny Southern California we had a very mild March First.] I wonder if that theory ever holds up.... Quote Jeannie

...Change is inevitable; growth is optional....
olger Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Yeah, we got warnings out all over Ohio today. Be interesting to see what happens. Usually the media gets all bug-eyed over a storm possibility - hopefully they are incorrect. Especially since we have to fly to Seattle this evening y'all behave, `G Quote "Please don't feed the drama queens.."
Administrators Naomi Posted March 2, 2012 Administrators Posted March 2, 2012 I sincerely hope that March will forget that it came in like a windy-lamb and will go out like the lamb that you-all will be enjoying. Members phkrause Posted March 2, 2012 Members Posted March 2, 2012 Here in Florida we got a little breeze yesterday and record breaking warmth and its suppose to continue through the weekend. :) Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Administrators Naomi Posted March 2, 2012 Administrators Posted March 2, 2012 I enjoy the four seasons: 1 week of winter, 4 weeks of summer and divide the remainder between spring and fall Quote If your dreams are not big enough to scare you, they are not big enough for God
Members phkrause Posted March 2, 2012 Members Posted March 2, 2012 I did too, but when you get 1 week of spring and fall and 2 months of summer and 6-7 months of winter it gets tiring. Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
Administrators Naomi Posted March 2, 2012 Administrators Posted March 2, 2012 I understand completely. I went from South Texas to Chicago and spent one year in Chi town. I loved the City but really don't care for long, cold winters. Quote If your dreams are not big enough to scare you, they are not big enough for God
Members phkrause Posted March 3, 2012 Members Posted March 3, 2012 Even though I dislike winter, I do love the city. I'd move back to NYC in a flash. But we're down here to be close to my Mom, who needs help with stuff. So maybe in the future we will move back north. Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
Dottie Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 A tornado was near my daughter's house, but I haven't heard if there was any bad damage, such as what hit Huntsville, where the prison received a lot of damage! ! Quote
whatisthis Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 I'm praying for all in the path of tornadoes. Quote more later
Administrators Naomi Posted March 3, 2012 Administrators Posted March 3, 2012 yes ... praying also Quote If your dreams are not big enough to scare you, they are not big enough for God
Neil D Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 y'all behave, ....And what if I don't WANT to behave? My anti-Authoritarian attitude is kickin' in..... Quote Democracy is a device that ensures we shall be governed no better than we deserve. George Bernard Shaw
