Woody Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 An observation: I believe that we are Christians are called to do one main thing - to LOVE. And if I may present a generalization - I find that women are far more progressed than others in this department. We males have much to learn and observe from this. Will we? Or will we instead - continue on our ways - believing OUR way is the more important way. Just a few ramblings from this male. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
GoLions Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 I don't know about that, I work with more women than men. I don't see a lot of Biblical love between the women. Even those who profess to be Christians, and usually they are the worst offenders. Women are just as mean and cruel as men, they just go about it a different way. Quote
monty Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 I agree GoLions. My experiance in the workplace: Women can be deceptive, backstabbing, and as undermining as any man and in the end they get away with more because of the defference often given them because of there female status. When I hear people say we need a women President or leader here or there I privately cringe. The sinful nature we have inherited does not preclude a particular gender! Quote
cricket Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 Well, I'm a woman and I do not LOVE threads like this. Quote
monty Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 Nothing personal intended. Other experiance could have been entirely different. Quote
Administrators Naomi Posted April 22, 2012 Administrators Posted April 22, 2012 Sometimes I think women can be the most difficult, othertimes I think men are more difficult. Then I stop and think, we are all humans and share the very same emotions. Quote If your dreams are not big enough to scare you, they are not big enough for God

Administrators Gail Posted April 23, 2012 Administrators Posted April 23, 2012 I agree that it could happen to anyone. To keep that mandate in focus is what I need to remind myself constantly. And why? Because God knows the greatest need of our suffering world. Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
