About the letter C

I don't know about anyone else, but I am getting a little tired of the letter C. Who needs it anyway? Sometimes it pretends to be an S other times it is a K.

I say LETS GO BACK TO 25 letters. I do not know any 2 letters words that I can use with the letter C in WORDS WITH FRIENDS.

I say LET THE BOYCOTT BEGIN. If I am elected president with a massive write in vote, that would be my first executive act.

25 letters is more metrik like, if you wanted 8 sets of the alphabet for skhools.. answer is 400 the old 26 it is.. 8*6 is 8 karry the 4 8*2 is 16 plus the 4 hmmm 208 even Klose? Rise up people, 25 is just so mutsh easier.

Hmmmm, "mutsh". Yeah, I guess that'll work. That is the only time we need c is in ch?

You'd have to throw i into the possibly expendable category. Either that or y. You also have u and w often sharing the same job, and also g and j. However, as Teresa so aptly illustrated, there are times when these apparently redundant letters are needed. If written English were as phonetically simple as is Spanish, we could dispense with two years of grammar school education.

I say we throw out the whole alphabet and go back to drawing pictures. It still works in China.

Nice idea but if no "c" than you'd have a hard time translating Hebrew to english. Because you need that "ch" for many words in Hebrew(Jewish). :)

I propose the abolishment of C and the introduction of a new letter. It looks like a three-tined fork standing on its tines and works for the 'ch' sound.
