Liz Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 I wonder if that was strictly enforced? Or if they knew their neighbors so well that they all knew old man Taylor was down in his back again, and that he couldn't sit in a pew. Although, it is a neat thought that they all thought so highly of church that the mere thought of skipping church was a punishable offense. teresaq Posted November 26, 2011 Author Posted November 26, 2011 I found it hilarious that they fined them tobacco for missing church or showing up drunk. Quote facebook. /teresa.quintero.790
