Administrators Gail Posted December 23, 2011 Author Administrators Posted December 23, 2011 Yes, Dottie- when I was in Drafting class we were taught to turn our pencils as we drew our lines, to keep an even thickness of line. We got marked on how uniform our lines were. In those days we drew the thin lines and the thick ones with the same lead (well, we did have a hard one 2H and a softer lead- F2 1/2). But all the lines had to be uniform in width. I think I paid $6-something for mine and $15 for my husband's. I got him two of the metal-barreled ones.
