Ron Lambert Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 What did he mean by "Don't buy gas if you don't need it"? Everyone needs gas. Did he mean don't try to hoard it, build up private stockpiles? Very few people have the means to store more gas than what they can put in their vehicles' gas tanks, and maybe in a gas can for the lawnmower. I think he would have been better saying, "Don't do any unnecessary driving. Try to use less gas than you did before. Don't mow your lawn quite as often." Of course, most of us were already doing these things just because gas prices were so high before the Hurricane Katrina disaster. Quote
Dr. Shane Posted September 3, 2005 Author Posted September 3, 2005 I think he meant to stay home this Labor Day weekend if you don't need to go any where. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Find me at www.PostumCafe.com Author of Peculiar Christianity
