IMO The principles of these characteristics have been with us ever since Adam accused God of being resposible for his disobedience, although it was more clearly seen in Able's death as a rsult of Cain's wrath.

Ever notice how those who deny the Investigative Judgment are more often than not the MOST ignorant of this list. For example contrast the new studies about Paul with the keytexts used by Ratzlaf and company.

As long as this list exists, I'll be a believer in the Investigative Judgment, as this list is the EVIDENCE of it, and enjoying this list is the FRUIT of the Investigative Judgment. I dare say that this list and the effect it can have on our lives if we enjoy it IS the investigative judgment, and that no matter how much we may bellyach against the doctrine, if you are enjoying this list you are accepting the Investagative Judgment, you just have a misunderstanding that makes you protest, and no matter how much we claim to believe in the investagative judgment, if we are not enjoying this list we are setting aside the doctrine in our lives.

Kevin, I wish I understood more of the symbolism of "Chronicals of Narnia" by C.S.lewis. His religious books brought me back to God after years of agnosticism. He and Carl Jung, and followers, brought this prodigal daughter back home, then back to Adventism. I know Aslan, the lion, represents Jesus. That's about all I know. Has anyone written a book about the meanings? I've read the entire set, but not from the standpoint of allegory. There is a C.S.Lewis forum, but it covers so much.
