Moderators Jeannieb43 Posted July 6, 2013 Moderators Posted July 6, 2013 Marthann Demchuk, of Monrovia, California, was killed last night when struck by a drunk driver's car as she walked along the road near her beach home in San Clemente, California. She was walking with her grandson Mason, but she was able to shove him out of the way before she herself was struck. She flew several feet through the air. She has five children, all of whom attended SDA schools and colleges. Her late husband, Eugene, was an attorney who died in 2005. Funeral services are pending.
