Amelia Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 I was watching early morning news and found out that many of the people who didnt leave, stayed because pets were not being allowed to evacuate with their humans. The shelters that evacuees are being sent to, do not take pets. No one wants to leave their pets behind.
