Gordon1 Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 Around 1AM this morning (Sabbath) a train of 73 cars carrying crude oil somehow broke loose from its parked position. It then rolled unmanned for several miles (apparently) into the town of Lac Megantic and derailed, causing massive fires & explosions in the downtown core where nightclubs were full. Dozens are reported missing as entire buildings were destroyed. Lac Megantic is a town of 6000 people, about 10 miles from the Maine border. Quote
