Derrell M Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 Quote: all the pre-fabricated, homogenized, synthetic, factory-made, artificially colored and flavored stuff that's being discussed here barely makes the category of "food", let alone "health." Perhaps the "Health Food" forum should be renamed, "Adventist Food" forum I don't know that seasoning, veggies, and condiments could suffice with the Big Franks. I just think they taste bad. Now Leanies are another thing. I really like them, and so do my kids. In fact they won't eat other kinds of hotdogs anymore. Quote
Moderators lazarus Posted September 18, 2005 Moderators Posted September 18, 2005 just had a thought....In the time of trouble maybe God will send down Fri-chick down to feed us. Is that a really heretical thing to say? Quote Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities. The latter cannot understand it when a man does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence. Einstein
Paul Beach Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 Dear Lazarus, Perhaps that is why a flock of soy beans flew in to help out the Israelites in the wilderness. Sincerely, Mrs. Gray Quote
Derrell M Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 Lazarus, That is indeed heretical. Beware lest a large roll of Worthington Tuno swallow you whole, only to regurgitate you onto the streets of Loma Linda after three days and nights. Smothered in vegienaisse. Quote

olger Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 I would have a much greater struggle with Nutella than I would with Nuteena. Og Quote "Please don't feed the drama queens.."
Morepork Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 This must be a world-wide problem as we have had Nutolene taken from the supermarket shelves in the last month.Very disappointed as it is the favourite in our house! So, how about making it yourselves, not quite the same, but it's a pretty good 2nd choice! Nutolene 3 eggs 1 cup peanut butter 1/2 cup wholemeal flour 1 finely chopped onion 1 cup cold water 1 cup boiling water 1 1/2 teaspoons salt 1 teaspoon mixed herbs Beat eggs in 1 cup cold water. Mix 1 cup peanut butter gradually to a cream with 1 cup boiling water. Combine the mixture. Add wholemeal flour, salt, onion and mixed herbs. Steam for 2 hours or bake slowly in oven for 3/4 hour at 150c or 350 F. The steamed method is more realistic to Nutolene. Quote Morepork

Moderators John317 Posted August 9, 2011 Moderators Posted August 9, 2011 I love both of those things. The Nuteena type they sell now is too dry, I think. The sandwich spread was my favorite. Please send me a PM with the directions as to how to get it. Quote John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. [17] For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
Administrators Gail Posted August 9, 2011 Administrators Posted August 9, 2011 I would have a much greater struggle with Nutella than I would with Nuteena. That is what I thought y'all were talking about. I would also have a struggle with Nutella, too. Dottie Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 Guess I'm being a little terse tonight. Benn a rough day. Quote
