How Can We Tell?

How can we tell if we have received His Spirit of Truth or the spirit of error?

When we can take the Words of Jesus and the Words of all the Prophets and Apostles and find True Harmony and Unity.

If not we can know we are wresting the Words of one or more.

The True Church, the people, His people will have first True Harmony and Unity with God the Father and Jesus Christ and the Word, His Word! Then will not there be Harmony and Unity among them?

Getting to the solid Rock then of His Truth is a very necessary must! Folks, we have no excuse whatsoever!

Joh 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

Notice now, the world cannot receive Him,

Joh 14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

Joh 14:18 ¶ I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

Joh 15:26 ¶ But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

Now, this is His Promise to us all, and notice, "He will guide you into ALL truth plus "shew you things to come!

Joh 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Mt 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Now the latter rain is beginning to fall and we are told the great shaking comes from the straight testimony of the true witness, Jesus Christ. Notice John 15:26 above.

Yes folks we are at the time when the Spirit of Truth stirs His True ones to stand up and put forth the straight testimony of the True Witness!

Yes this is what is causing the shaking in the churches, the Spirit of Truth being poured out by the awake true hearts and they are giving forth the Truth Testimony of Him.

This will expose the errors in the churches and causes the great shaking.

We want and need all the light we can receive from Him and it is infinite, no end,

" Only those who are living up to the light they have, will receive greater light. Unless we are daily advancing in the exemplification of the active Christian virtues, we shall not recognize the manifestations of the Holy Spirit in the latter rain. It may be falling on hearts all around us, but we shall not discern or receive it." {FLB 333.6}

Will proud hearts and spirits receive it? No! Only the humble teachable contrite ones will and He will set their hearts on fire, the fire of His Spirit of truth.

The Truth is a very, very precious jewel in this world!

Folks, we need the Spirit of Truth as never before in this end of time when the latter rain is beginning to fall.

Yes the promise is "He will guide you into all truth" and so if ALL are guided into ALL the Truth, then we would have true Christian Unity and Harmony of the Church!

Look around now at all the dissenting views of many groups here and there every where. This only is the answer to solve the very serious problem of the churches of this mixed up world.

We must have the truth and we need and must have it on every point and If the people would buckle down and receive His Spirit of truth we can know this, those who do are truly in His Church.

Follow Him only as He Only is the Truth, the Way and the Life! His Word is Truth, let us get it and accept nothing else!

So Dear Ones, we must ask ourselves individually and be down right honest with ourselves. Have I received His Spirit of Truth or is what I am believing on some points of the spirit of error.

We can know for sure. It must jibe with the Words of all the prophets, disciples and Jesus Christ.

If we have the Spirit of Truth, He convicts you of any sin and when you've done your homework of the Truth when you finally have arrived at taking it up!

Do not be led of men and lean on any mans interpretation but solely on the Word of God.

No man or any organization of this world is Your Saviour. Hear Him and His Word only.

Suspicion all that you are being taught and have been taught just may be error.

Yes all the dissention out there among us proves there is much deadly wrong going on.

That will be and is remedied by all who receive His Spirit of Truth that Guides into "ALL" Truth!

None is so blind as one who thinks he's in the right when he is wrongk.

Yes Gerry and being led of His Spirit of Truth into "ALL" Truth is the most important endeavor that we could come by.

Then we would have True Christian Unity and Harmony. But we don't have it and so we know all are not led of His Spirit of Truth.

It comes down to this and really Christ in you is His Spirit of Truth!

2Co 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

Will our beliefs stand up to the Word of God and the SOP?

What is Truth? Joh 17:17 ¶ Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

Many would find they are in error if they would examine what they hold to be truth by the Word of Truth.

One is not safe in no way following men. Our only safety is in following Him and His Word only.

"ONLY THE TRUTH",

"We must have the truth on every point. And we must hold fast the beginning of our confidence firm unto the end. We are to draw near to God, and then he will draw near to us. The God of heaven gave his Son to redeem us, and we are to become partakers of the divine nature, that we may be vessels unto honor, fit for the Master's use." {SW, March 1, 1904 par. 2}

Here is a testimony of the case right now of our time. This emphasizes the fact Unity and Harmony is had only when we have arrived at the Truth and taken it up in our hearts.

WE MUST HAVE THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH AND NOT RECEIVE ANYTHING LESS!

"As trials thicken around us, both separation and unity will be seen in our ranks. Some who are now ready to take up weapons of warfare will in times of real peril make it manifest that they have not built upon the solid rock; they will yield to temptation. Those who have had great light and precious privileges but have not improved them will, under one pretext or another, go out from us.--6T 400 (1900). {LDE 175.2}

The Straight Testimony Produces a Shaking

I asked the meaning of the shaking I had seen, and was shown that it would be caused by the straight testimony called forth by the counsel of the True Witness to the Laodiceans. This will have its effect upon the heart of the receiver, and will lead him to exalt the standard and pour forth the straight truth. Some will not bear this straight testimony. They will rise up against it, and this will cause a shaking among God's people .--1T 181 (1857). {LDE 175.3}

There are those among us who will make confessions, as did Achan, too late to save themselves.

. . . They are not in harmony with right. They despise the straight testimony that reaches the heart, and would rejoice to see everyone silenced who gives reproof.--3T 272 (1873). {LDE 175.4}

The Lord calls for a renewal of the straight testimony borne in years past. He calls for a renewal of spiritual life. The spiritual energies of His people have long been torpid, but there is to be a resurrection from apparent death. By prayer and confession of sin we must clear the King's highway.--8T 297 (1904). {LDE 176.1}

Folks, we can have it, His wonderful promise to us, let us make sure and receive of His Spirit of Truth!
