Women in Ministry in the Seventh-day Adventist Church

The focus of this thread is for the documenting of Adventist views regarding women in ministry. From the later part of 1844 all the way until 1915 the Adventist movement acknowledged the role of a woman, Ellen G. White, in their spiritual and religious thinking. This reality prompted criticism from conservative Christian groups who did not accord women any kind of leadership role.
