Ted Oplinger Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 Or, after copying the URL address from the bar, one can come back to this reply window and click the little globe with link icon next to the smilies icon above. A prompt comes up asking for the address - paste it in over the highlighted "http://". Another prompt comes up asking what you'd like to call the link. The icon sets up all the UBBCode for you...and gets the same result. The net result is: Have a Fish Blessings! To take the cross of Christ means to depend solely on Him for everything, and this is the abasement of all human pride. Men love to fancy themselves independent. But let the cross be preached, let it be made known that in man dwells no good thing and that all must be received as a gift, and straightway someone is offended." Ellet J. cricket Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 Interesting. LOL I tend to only use the immediate reply box and rarely see the "Full Reply Screen". Either way works. I like mine better though, because it works here and on all the other forums I use. Quote
Ted Oplinger Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 Cricket, I applaud your use by memory. The coding for any of the icons on our full reply tool bar will work on any forum where UBBCode is usable. Blessings! cricket Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 Thanks Ted. The only problem I see with using the code here is that I'd have to flip back and forth between forums. That's a little time consuming. Quote
Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted August 6, 2013 Members Posted August 6, 2013 why not just use the "embed" option always available at You Tube?? All one needs to do is copy the code, paste it here, click "using HTML and UBBcode," make a short comment in the reply box, and click "submit" to post it... to post a url, all you need to do is copy and paste it.. like for this: http://clubadventist.com/forum/ubbthread...html#Post657492 Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?
cricket Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 LOL. That does work too! And it's a whole lot simpler. I wonder why some people have such difficulty with linking? Quote
Planey Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 I wonder why some people have such difficulty with linking? A quick glance read me to read 'linking' as 'thinking'. I nodded my head in agreement...
