LifeHiscost Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 Anybody else having trouble with google Chrome? God cares! Quote Lift Jesus up!!
Members phkrause Posted August 24, 2013 Members Posted August 24, 2013 I downloaded it a while back, because I heard so many good things about it. I think it rots. Seems to be really a hog, goes very slowly compared to Firefox. So I don't use it anymore. Have gone back to Firefox. Thanks but no thanks to Google Chrome. Members phkrause Posted August 24, 2013 Members Posted August 24, 2013 Thanks Stan, I wasn't even able to get into my cookies to do that! Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
joeb Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 I'd be a little leery of Chrome. I tried it when it first came out but quit using it soon after that as it had built-in reporting back to Google that was next to impossible to stop. Firefox will report back to Mozilla too, but Mozilla made it easy to shut that off. Quote Liberty cannot be established without morality, nor morality without faith.Alexis de Tocqueville
LifeHiscost Posted August 25, 2013 Author Posted August 25, 2013 Much obliged, Stan and all others, for the information. Some difficulties seem to have needed some time to develop the pathways necessary as most of the functions have returned, but I'm still noticing better functionality with Mozilla Firefox, especially as it allows Ghostery and Google Chrome does not. Part of the problem was also as a result of moving to a restored point after removing some files that had some functionality of which I wasn't aware. God cares! Quote Lift Jesus up!!
