M. T. Cross Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 Hollywood, comic books, and video games have been for years now, taking deity out of various mythologies and making tv shows, superhero comics and video game characters out of them. How would you feel if say they made a movie about Jesus as a soldier or superhero? Quote

Ted Oplinger Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 On that token Dgrimm, it should not be done with anybody elses Gods either. I am quite surprised Hollywood hasn't tried to take that step yet. After all, the artful elite have done just about everything else depict Christ shamefully... Blessings, Quote "As iron sharpens iron, so also does one man sharpen another" - Proverbs 27:17 "The offense of the cross is that the cross is a confession of human frailty and sin and of inability to do any good thing. To take the cross of Christ means to depend solely on Him for everything, and this is the abasement of all human pride. Men love to fancy themselves independent. But let the cross be preached, let it be made known that in man dwells no good thing and that all must be received as a gift, and straightway someone is offended." Ellet J. Waggoner, The Glad Tidings "Courage is being scared to death - and saddling up anyway" - John Wayne "The person who pays an ounce of principle for a pound of popularity gets badly cheated" - Ronald Reagan

Money is strictly of this world. "“Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price." olger Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 "I am the way, the Truth and the Life, and no man comes to the Father except through Me." "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect." Hollywood is Sodom reborn. Rejoice always, G Quote "Please don't feed the drama queens.."
Members phkrause Posted September 3, 2013 Members Posted September 3, 2013 My thoughts on that are, that they still have respect for Jesus and also they believe that he is a little bit more than a myth. And probably they are thinking that if there's any truth to the Bible than they better be careful! Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
