Ted Oplinger Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 But according to the press oversees, Obama and Kerry got punked in a major way. Where our political Left are giving each other high-fives and congratulating themselves, press and foreign ministers overseas are in major disbelief in how far the US has fallen in standing. Putin and Assad ran rings around our top administration with ease. Absolutely nothing was achieved by Obama and Kerry. The chemical weapons will be removed on Russia and Syria's time table, not ours, and cannot be verified on the ground as removed while the civil war is in progress; Assad remains in power. The real question as to who really did use the Sarin gas remains unanswered (as there are evidences pointing the finger at both parties); the rebels (now, mostly Al Qaeda fighters) remain on the defensive. Russia keeps its warm water port access in the Mediterranean, and Assad is thought in some circles to now be recipient of major spare parts supplies he desperately needs to continue the fight. Assad must pay for using Sarin? When Russia is now stating the agreement can only be valid if the US does not strike at all? It just isn't going to happen. Win for Russia, win for Syria, but for the US? Assad is said to have stepped across Obama's "red line", not once, but twice, has his 11 yr old son snub Obama publicly on Facebook for all the world to see, and for that....crickets. No, Obama and his merry Democrat band got punked and checkmated - with ease and impunity - at every step. US got zero out of it, with the sole exception that Obama got to extract himself from his "red line" corner and save face...but oh, the cost to our standing around the world. So now, Obama's saying that we reserve the right to strike, and that not necessarily requiring Congressional approval...this is all but pure street posturing - the kind seen by a punk after getting schooled in a fight, talking trash to the one who the rest of the crowd sees winning easily. People seem to have the idea that our president is supposed to be for the US, but it is my impression he is getting paid by Soros to take the US down as far as possible, in terms of economic strength and global influence, as he can in the term granted him. From what I am reading around the world, Obama is extremely successful with that goal in mind. To take the cross of Christ means to depend solely on Him for everything, and this is the abasement of all human pride. Men love to fancy themselves independent. But let the cross be preached, let it be made known that in man dwells no good thing and that all must be received as a gift, and straightway someone is offended." Ellet J. Neil D Posted September 11, 2013 Author Posted September 11, 2013 According to one report, the polls on attacking Syria were 2:1 against..... Kerry provided a way, thru his own bumbling way, and Syria, with the help of Putin, accepted it.... Cuz, if it didn't, and we struck at Syria, then it's WWI all over again....That world war came thru "peace treaties"...Other countrys promise of coming to the aid of another.... This way, we avoided war...we still win.... So what we got a bit of egg on our face....So what we are not concidered the world's policeman....This type of PR is fleating...and we will do better next time...
