Unless the man is triggering these things manually, there's no way these "bumps" could tell the difference between a speeding small vehicle versus a large truck going slower. With regard to the unfortunate driver in the video - that speed trap could not flip and throw a car that far of a distance...especially if the trap is bouncing up and down when sprung. The force needed to produce a throw like that would have buckled the car frame coming from below...
