Democrat Lite - Mitch McConnell - hastily warned Rand Paul the mic was still live. Rand Paul wasn't phased, but continued to lay question as to the lack of logic and thought the Democrat's strategy was doing to their own message. Mitch didn't distance himself away, in word or action. Democrats gleefully crow about this open mic moment - but even this optic is bad, for it simply shows how Republican leaders are operating as an opposition questioning the effectiveness of opposing tactics - as one would expect two opposition leaders to do. As before, more popcorn needed to watch this drama unfold.... I asked, because I've not seen you this prolific on the political forum before, and you appear to convey the appearance of being upset the Republican Party is doing what it is doing these days. Many pardons in scooping the impressions of multiple threads and landing them into one response. I have no doubt that the Liberal Media is doing all it can to heap this on top of the Republicans; the New Media and foreign news wires, though, include many more details the Liberal Media here is conveniently leaving out. Like Senator Reid's very insensitive, callous remark about children with cancer? Nary a peep about it on our usual alphabet networks - one has to really dig deeper than most are willing to go to find an acknowledgement of it; it was big news on the foreign wires and on the InterNet, though. FOX, we know, doesn't count as good news... /sarc off The rest of my case does apply to the article, PK. The Republicans do appear to be acting like a true oppositional party - and neither the Democrats nor their media allies like it. Both are clearly worried this will backfire on them tremendously in the near future. That is why they are engaging in the bullying full-court press now, rather than being like Clinton, and simply wait out the Republicans as their position self-destructed as a consequence of due course.
