ClubV12 Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 The Muslims stated: Any Muslims killed during the recent Mall terrorist strike should have known better than to associate with "infidels". Thus, those Muslims who were killed got what they deserved. The bible says essentially the same thing, "Come out of her my people", don't be a partaker of the plagues. Ellen Whites counsel is along the same lines, think carefully who your "hanging with", why and where. Disasters will increase, don't unessecarily place yourself in a situation where you can be caught up in it. In simple terms, "leave the cities", retire to the country. The wise will understand, Bob tried to make this point concerning football in another thread. Football? Yes, and soccer and many other competitive sports. Buy a jersey, buy a ticket, support these sports, you support the violence and the "plagues" that will and do result. Find yourself in the stadium when the bomb goes off, you were warned. But the excuses are endless, as Bobs thread so clearly demonstrated. It's the classic case of how close can I get to "sin" (yes SIN, the wise will understand) and not get burned? We see it in the "out of the cities" threads as well. The suburbs aren't "that bad", and besides, one has to make a living. Do so at your own risk, you have been warned. Public schools, because you can't afford a private school? A mass shooting is defined as four or more people killed. There has been a mass shooting every month for the past two years. The "plagues" ARE falling, right now, and will increase in intensity. Come out of her my people, lest ye partake. Most will not hear, they will continue to make excuses, GOOD excuses, reasonable, logical excuses, solid excuses. But they too will "partake" in due time. MOST people on this forum will "partake" of the plagues falling all around us. Why? Because only a remnanat of the remnant will understand and take action. The rest are "cannon fodder", the devils lawful prey. The wise will understand, a fraction of those reading this. The rest will offer smooth sayings, and encouragement and this will come from the respected leaders and honored men, on THIS forum and more. People who are respected and looked up to, fulfilling Ellen Whites prophecy. She said, they won't deny the Spirit of Prophecy as being inspired, the last great deception will be to make her testimony of little of no effect. Like suggesting that Ellen White donated land for a "ball field" in a football thread that will inevitably lead some people to conclude she supports football. Her counsel is clear on this issue, she does not. Nor does she support ANY competitive sport. To suggest otherwise, however nicley it is done, however spiritually and understanding it may sound, is to make her testimony of little or no effect. Such is especially sinister when it comes from a respected source. The Bereans didn't trust Paul, and they were right NOT to! His advice was simply a lesser light pointing back to the greater light. It was the greater light the Bereans used to prove Pauls counsel. In the respect, Paul was saying the same thing Ellen White has said, "Dont take MY word for it, search it for yourself." See if these things are true. Every prophet who ever wrote was a "lesser light" leading to the greater light that had come before them. This is not a complicated issue, but so many love to take something simple and shroud it in mystery. That, friend, is the devils special game plan! Quote
Felix Florimon Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 "Come out of her my people", don't be a partaker of the plagues. Ellen Whites counsel is along the same lines, think carefully who your "hanging with", why and where. "Come out of her my people:" This is just an invitation coming from God. However, this invitation needs to be followed by a prayer that we need to make to God: "Give us your Spirit in order to enable us to have a better understanding so that our love from Babylon could disappear within our midst. As our love from Babylon is vanishing from us, help us be an instrument in having Babylon out of the hearts and minds of all those that we have to associate with and finally, on our way out of Babylon give us the certainty that your Spirit and your protection is fully with us, within us and that it will always be so." Felix Florimon Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Exactly which plagues do you believe are falling? Quote
ClubV12 Posted October 5, 2013 Author Posted October 5, 2013 A reasonable question Windsor, and I think Felix provides a reasonable answer. As for myself, I USED to think in terms of the biblical counsel to "come out of her my people", to avoid the "plagues" as applying specifically to the seven last plagues. I have believed now, for some time, that it applies to the general degradation of worldly conditions as Gods Spirit is being withdrawn from the world. His PROTECTION is being withdrawn, the devil has increasing power over men. It has been argued by some that God NEVER brings destruction (plagues of any kind, drought, fires, hurricanes, earthquakes) directly but allows "evil" to take it's natural course. I believe there is a balance between what God does directly and what He simply allows to take it's natural course. I leave room for God to directly intervene when some person, peoples, nation or group has filled their cup of iniquity. The flood. Sodom. There are several examples where I see direct heavenly action in prouncing sentence and carrying out justice. Davids four sons dieing, as prophesied they would, are more of an example of God allowing the natural order of things (consequences of sin) to play out. In Davids case He did NOT intervene to stop the natural order of things. In the case of Job, we see direct intervention by the evil doer. So there is no "one size fits all" scenario. "Plagues" ARE falling and WILL increase in intensity, culminating in the seven last. Which will follow a "time of trouble" such as the world has never seen. When I first moved to the country, following the counsel to leave the cities, I thought in terms of getting away from temptation, gangs, violence, etc. NOW I see it's much more than that, the spiritual benefits and lessons to be learned in the country become more apparent with each passing day. I kept my house in the city, rented it out, not being sure country living was the best thing for me, a "city boy". That first winter was tough. No street lights, no sidewalks, mud, leaves and branches falling on my cars, trying to figure out a wood stove while I'm freezing. At one point I was sure I had made a terrible mistake!! In the end, it was the BEST thing I could have ever done, spiritually, health wise, in SO many areas. The tenants in my city house were recently arrested for meth use. They destroyed my house. Homeless had moved in. Courts, police, lawyers, it's been a nightmare. I can't get TOTALLY out of the city fast enough now. The plagues are falling, they will increase in intensity. At some point, you won't be able to leave, you won't be able to sell your house. You will be trapped by the "natural order of things" as God will allow them to unfold, as He withdraws His protection. Heed the warnings, please, before it's to late. Save yourself and your family. Leave that "football" behind, your life is at stake. My tenants: Good people I had known for years. Astonishing their sudden involvement with Meth. What happened? The city, thats what happened, it got them. Good people, in the wrong place at the wrong time. Quote

Continuous reading of the Word with the intent of giving up any personal biases interfering with the simplicity of the basic Truth is the only way one can escape the temptation to put one's ability to reason as of primary importance for understanding eternal principles. Hitler might have said that, but that's not how it played out. He was very quiet about his intentions, but when he came into power, he didn't take control over the Jews a little at a time!!! He did it very quickly, before other countries had any idea. Especially Germany and Poland. But if you want to take the word of a liar that's fine. ClubV12 Posted October 6, 2013 Author Posted October 6, 2013 "A little at a time" vs "suddenly" are relative terms PK. I'm no expert on how Hitler took over, but from my general understanding, it wasn't overnight. He was well liked by the people, made grandiose promises, won their confidence, that took some time. Years I would say. At some point that death by a thousand cuts is ready to exploit and the last stage events are rapid ones. I think that is exactly what we are seeing in these last day events and the sprinkling of plagues, soon to become a deluge. We get used to disaster, get numb to it to some degree. We see it all the time, there is nothing we can personally do, change the channel at best. The last events will be rapid ones, catching many by surprise and for most, it will be to late. Death by a thousand cuts? Thats the way I see womens ordination, by the way. The proponents of it, on this web site in particular, keep hammering away at what a good idea it is. Good people, who might have been on the fence at some point, slowly become supporters. By beholding the never ending onslaught of what a "good idea" it is, they become changed. We are already seeing open rebellion toward the leadership, the G.C., serious divisions within the Church. Regardless of how ones feels about W.O., by the fruit, I know something is terribly wrong with this support movement. The Church is not immune to the plagues falling right now. Quote
Felix Florimon Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 Another plague: American soldiers that have served in the Middle East committing suicide in record numbers. This plague has come as a result of denying school children who later became soldiers the knowledge the best fighter against evil that exists in the entire universe: This is our Lord Jesus Christ. Even worse, the US Army has a policy in which American soldiers could be court martialed if an American soldier teaches another soldier to come to the feet of our Lord Jesus so He could help him/ her out of any difficult spiritual or emotional situation. If we are talking "last days" as in the last 40, 50, 60+ years than yes! we are definitely in agreement. I as I've observed in the past 45 years as each new administration that has taken over a little more has shown us how easily the end can come upon us. ClubV12 Posted October 6, 2013 Author Posted October 6, 2013 "Last days", yes, that is a tricky one! Surely WW1, the Great Depression, WW2 must have seemed the end was at the very door step. I support the concept that for any of us, at any time, the "last days" could be tonight, when your soul is required of you. However we see it, let us not be lulled into slumber over the apparent delay. There are many good and important reasons to remove ourselves, as much as possible, from the influence of sin we find in the city. And the plauges we have seen falling on the cities for many years, ever increasing. It was a wise Christian who took that counsel seriously in WW1, the 1920's, WWII! It is a wise Christian today who see's the need to protect not only themselves but their family by providing for the "last days". Hitlers party was founded on the premise that Jews were inferior. It would be several decades before the party gained enough political and legal authority to carry out their plans on a massive scale. They certainly didn't waste any time when their hour had come.
