America's 10 Busiest Airports

The U.S. has some of the world's busiest airports: In fact, 12 of the world's top 30 were in the U.S. in 2012. But busy airports aren't necessarily good ones, and big doesn't mean user-friendly. (None of the top-10 U.S. airports earned an Airline Service Quality award from Airports Council International.) Still, you'll probably have to cope with at least one of these monsters—and sometimes two—on an upcoming trip. So knowing helps.

Atlanta or Dallas is the largest, as I recall.

Yes, I have personally experienced all 10 of them, most of them too many times to remember. You know you travel too much when you can see a pic of the inside of an airport and immediately recognize it and identify it.

I do understand Tom. What is sad is that I haven't traveled a great deal for about 4 years and still recognize most by seeing a picture.

My husband got stuck in Atlanta after a bomb scare or a bomb went off (was it at the Olympics? Can't remember). They confiscated any liquid he had with him and his flight was delayed, snaky, long line-ups, etc. Absolute nightmare!
