Here is the Way to Garden

I have been doing this for years and then I came across this film. If you are a gardener and love it you must watch this film.

Ground covering, no weeds and less labor and better vegies and no watering is needed in most places,

Folks the Eden way. Depending on the material you may need to add nitrogen until decomposition kicks in good for a yr. or two.

Dear ones,

We are coming to severe times and all can do a spot of gardening and it easy this way, you would be surprised what you can raise in a 16 x 16 foot space this way as intense growing of things works well because more nutrients and moisture are available in less space.

When the decomposing material gets in high gear you will be amazed.

That film is very well worth watching as you are getting guidance from the experts at it.

Gardening is a blessing in more ways than one. Now is the time to get it set up!

I've only prepped a 50X100 foot section for next year. Tractor PTO rototiller. Top soil goes down three feet, good drainage, plenty of water, beautiful soil. No rocks! Just sweet ground you can drop a shovel into like a hot knife through butter. If next years garden works out well, I might buy a two bottom plow and get serious with the rest of the acreage.

A couple of my friends started the Back-to-Eden method last year. Small plots.

I also have in most places 2 to 3 feet of topsoil but weeds are the problem for me and the Back to Eden method solves that. Now any weed seeds that get started in my cover stuff, I just take a rake and the things rake right out easily and die.

The ease and cost of getting the material can be a deciding factor in going into it on a big scale. If you have lots of grass and a good catcher and mower, you have a great source and grass has it's own nitrogen and that will not be a problem for a couple of years as some other covers are.

Any wanting to give it a try, I do advise watching the film all the way through.

Some around here with very good soil raise lots of organic vegies and have little sale sheds, more like a long porch with sides. Most are several miles from me but there is an Amish Market across town from me here around 2'1/2 miles. I at times when out that way pick up some things.

They had the red skin new potatoes early and I got some of those one time this year, which are great.
