None! I used to belong to a few others, but I don't go there anymore.

Many many years ago when I was looking for online SDA forums, this was the only one I found that "fit". So I stopped looking for anything else. :)

For what will a man be profited, if he gains the whole world, and forfeits his soul? Mat. 16:26

That is similar to what I've heard from others, too, that this place has a personality that is different from the others.

Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

Years ago I enjoyed the old forum that the late J.R. Layman used to operate.

God never said "Thou shalt not think".

Yup, only here, tried others, won't go back. But I tell ya, it's not always easy hanging around here. Internet forums in general can be difficult.

I long for more unity in the Church, and to often I find it is similiar to what we see here. A wide range of opinions, different views on doctrine, contention, strife, conflict. It leaves me exhausted at times, physically, spiritually, here as well as in real life dealing with the variety of views.

I've looked from time to time...I originally came from SDANET.net...don't know if it is still up or not....a very intellectual site....

Hey, Doug, what's the site for the singles ministry?

This really is the only place for me now. Over the years I have been a participant in 6-8 different Adventist related forums, and a handful others not.

"Absurdity reigns and confusion makes it look good."

"Sinless perfection is such a shallow goal."

"I love God only as much as the person I love the least."

*Forgiveness is always good news. And that is the gospel truth.

(And finally, the ideas expressed above are solely my person views and not that of any organization with which I am associated.)

Hopefully, though, that will work to your good in the end. :)

I'm an administrator of several on FB. One is called "Catholic and Protestant Conversations." Has many SDAs and Catholics. About 700 members, mostly Catholics. It is a "closed" forum, so if you want to join, you will need to send us a request.

Requires lots of patience and love for people who disagree with you and sometimes say things they shouldn't.

The purpose there is to communicate the Three Angels' Messages.

John 3:16-17

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. [17] For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

I am a member of one other one, but so far I like this one better. The layout seems so much simpler and user friendly.
