Thanks, Bro olger. I may sound funny, but why is it there is no "forum" in the left column of this same web page that shows up in my browser?

Just click on "Topic Options" on the left upper corner just above the opening post on this thread and then click on "new topic".

Thanks, Bro Gerry.

I am just wondering why the pop up menu that appears when the "Topic Options" is clicked does not have "New Topic" in it here in my browser; it only shows "New Reply", "Add Topic To Your Watched Topics", "Print Topic", and "Switch To Threaded Mode".

Some do believe in Solo Scriptura. Some do not.

Protestantism is a very large group with much variation in belief and practice.

They were abandoned of God in the same way the Jewish system was abandoned of God. No more light will be found in them.

And like the Jewish system, individual within that group will may find salvation. But the group as a whole, Sunday keeping Churches, are doomed.

What is Rome's challenge? For Protestants who believe in sola scriptura, the challenge is this: why then do you/they keep traditions of the Catholic Church? i.e. still keeping Sunday? Rome claims there is no scriptural basis for it. It is solely a child of the papacy.

That's funny. It's the church of Rome that teaches that God abandoned the Jewish system. You won't find that teaching in Scripture alone (sola Scriptura).

All the Protestant denominations that trace their roots through the Protestant Reformation to the Roman church are daughters of Catholicism. All the protestants that I know of cling to man-made traditions handed down by the mother church.

How many have given up the Catholic feasts like "Christ Mass" and returned to keeping God's feasts that the New Testament believers kept?

How many are even aware that the Gregorian calendar commonly used today was instituted by the Pope's authority and is at odds with the calendar used in the Bible?

I'm not hung up on what the Catholics believe or don't believe as it compares to what Adventists believe or don't believe. Fact is, Adventist just happen to have a lot in common with Catholics, it doesn't matter. If anything it proves the devil isn't stupid when it comes to creating a counterfit!

Todays Christian Churches are a result of the reformation, a "come out of her my people" movement. The Catholics have it right, the Jewish Nation was abandoned by our Lord. The reformation was making good progress, but they failed to accept the ever advancing truths of the reformation. It stalled out, a new group was raised up to take it's place, Adventists.

During the reformation Christian Churches were NOT the daughters of the Catholic Church, who IS the beast, by the way. But after their rejection of William Millers message THEN began their journey to become the "daughters of the beast". As ALL those who fail to keep the commandments of God will eventually become. Only two groups in the end, those that follow Jesus and those who follow a counterfit religion.

It will be the Sunday keeping Churches who institute a Nation Sunday law, not the Catholics. Not the beast, but the daughters of the beast.
