The Only Teacher, We Must Have!

This is a short one, and no statement of mine is needed,

"The Spirit of truth is the only effectual teacher of divine truth." {AG 199.5}

"We want the truth on every point, and we must search for it as for hid treasures. Dishes of fables are presented to us on every hand, and men choose to believe error rather than truth, because the acceptance of the truth involves a cross. Self must be denied; self must be crucified. Therefore Satan presents to them an easier way by making void the law of God. When God lets man have his own way, it is the darkest hour of his life. For a willful, disobedient child to be left to have his own way, to follow the bent of his own mind and gather the dark clouds of God's judgment about him, is a terrible thing." {FW 45.3}

For sure His Spirit and His Word alone are our safe guides and He the Comforter has come to us if we will arrange to let Him in to guide us into ALL Truth!

It is a wonderful promise from our Saviour Himself,

Joh 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

2Ti 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

1Jo 4:5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.

Yes and you surely can see from what He tells us, the VERY PERSON OF GOD!

Joh 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

There is no trinity of persons in the Godhead, the Father alone is the Godhead,

1Co 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

Eph 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

Jesus Christ is also head of the one and only true church! His Church! Read,

Mt 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

He alone can lead into ALL truth!
