The Termination of This Time Allotted to the Beast,

Yes there is a time allotted to the Beast to continue and then period!

Here read it,

Re 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

Re 13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. (42 months only to continue)

The beast brought to view here is the first beast of Re 13:

Re 13:1 ¶ And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

No it is not the Papacy but the system that rules in the image of Satan, as he gives it, "HIS POWER" "HIS SEAT" and "GREAT AUTHORITY! It too is seen to have 7 heads and 10 horns as he the great red dragon has.

Re 13:2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

Now what has been not noted before, is the fact these 42 mos. are not 1260 yrs. to 1798, as now I will show you the first beast of Re 13" is after 1798!?

Just one simple noting of a fact will prove this, read,

Note that before 1798 the crowns are on the heads,

Re 12:3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. (The heads here in the OWO system have the king power) "Old World Order)

This was when the religious systems had the ruling power and of which the Papal religion was the foremost and martyred without recompense.

But now we notice Satan in the NWO, after 1798 a new world order system that he raises up out of the sea of peoples, low and behold the crowns, king power is now on the beasts horns.

The deadly wound to the Papal head put an end to Martyrdom and any religious system having any precedence to rule.

Re 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

Re 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

And so now we see "they" worshipped the DRAGON which gave this new beast his power, remember "HIS SEAT, HIS POWER AND GREAT AUTHORITY!

When the deadly wound is healed this first beast then is only given power to continue 42 months and that is it!

This is not a day for a yr. prophecy, we are about to start that last 42 months Satan's image beast can continue to make war with the saints!

And war it surely will be!

I submit this will also likely be the period of the trumpets and the period of the 42 months of Re 11:

Re 11:2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

Re 11:3 ¶ And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

This will also be the time the 144,000 sound out the last message of mercy and the true gospel to the world.

It appears to me at present that any hurt will not be done until the 144,000 are all sealed,

Re 7:2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,

Re 7:3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

Re 7:4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

I nail this thesis to the door, receive or reject as you will, but nevertheless I bid you to watch and be getting ready, things are about to begin!

Notice the similarities of these four angels introduced, with the next four and what is held and then let loose to destroy,

Re 7:3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

Compare now with the first four trumpet angels and what they destroy,

Re 8:7 ¶ The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

Re 8:8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;

Re 8:9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.

Re 8:10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;

Re 8:11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

Re 8:12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

There is more to realize, note this, that the next 3 trumpet angels are "WOES" and notice what they are NOT to destroy,

Re 9:4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

Now there is 4 more angels loosed here in the "WOES" that need to be reckoned with as it is their job to kill one third of men!,

Re 9:14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.

Re 9:15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.

Re 9:16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.

Now I can't say but that time is a year a month and a day for this war or that it might be prepared for the hour, the month and the year for to slay the third of men.

Either way it is a tough one to realize!

Re 9:20 And the REST OF THE MEN WHICH WERE NOT KILLED BY THESE PLAGUES yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:

Re 9:21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

Folks, there is no doubt about it, a 200,000,000 man army is coming and will slay one third of mankind!

Verse Re 9:21 above, notice no repentance even after all this!

Solemn times are here, time for sure is short!

Gibs, I like these posts. For the most part, I agree with you, especially your assertion that the 42 months is real-time and not a day for a year; and that we should keep our eyes open for a system of rules in the image of satan rather than focusing solely on the papacy.

The first beast of Re 13: is far more than the one head, the Papal head that was wounded!

Re 13:3 And I saw "ONE" of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: "AND ALL THE WORLD WONDERED AFTER THE BEAST."

Did you note, after the beast and not the wounded head!

Now notice, the context from Re 13:11-18 can "NOT" be broken,

Here we have seen the great red dragon beast that gives his image beast HIS seat, His power and HIS GREAT AUTHORITY. He is the 666 and he has many after him! He is the antichrist and they are AN antichrist after their father the devil!

I missed adding a thought to cinch up the fact the 42 months or Rev 13: is very near future and will of course have to be in literal solar days.

That is this, "IF", the 42 months of Re 13 were the 1760 years leading up to 1798 then the prophecy of this verse failed, (I also gave verse 13:4, for context)

Well, now that ole beast is sure continuing since 1798, we can surely see that!

Ah, but now if we take in context of after that deadly wound is healed,

Re 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

Re 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

I believe it is very apparent that once that deadly wound is healed God only allows Satan 42 mos. more, or 1260 days to give power to his beast system.

No the prophecy will not fail and it has not been fulfilled yet. How do we know this 42 mos. is after 1798? Ah because we know the shift of the crowns, king power occurred after the deadly wound was inflicted!

Yes, because the Heads were crowned before, - Re 12:3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
