They especially do this during nesting season, birds looking for twigs to build nests or just sit for a bit. Sticks on their snout, then lay quiet and wait, it's great "fishing" for birds. This is alligators using TOOLS!!! A mark of higher intelligence. They need person hood protection too. :) Quote
