cricket Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 Some men might have a problem with "tech addiction"; just as some women might have a problem with "shoe addiction." The title of this thread is just as stereotypical and bigoted as one about whites versus whites, heavies versuse thins, brunettes versus blondes, yankees versus southerners, etc. It is rude and uncalled for. Amelia Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 well I do seem to see more men wearing the tshirt that says "the one with the most toys wins". aldona Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 When my life seems hollow & pointless I have an urge to head for the "classical" section of the CD store (or equivalent section of EBay.) "Music hath charms to soothe the savage beast" as Shakespeare said. Shoes? What a waste of time and money. They just go on your feet. I think I have about 3 pairs of shoes that I have bought (and a few more that my mom gave me because she felt sorry for me wearing the same ones all the time). Gadgets...yes, that fits the description of my husband...except he doesn't usually buy them, he makes them. <img src="/ubbtreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif" alt="" /> aldona Quote www.asrc.org.au (Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, Melbourne)Helping over 2000 refugees & asylum seekers each monthIMSLP/Petrucci Music LibraryThe Public Domain Music Score Library - Free Sheet Music DownloadsLooking for classical sheet music? Taylor Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 Hey, people of both sexes do things to relieve stress, some shop, some go no vacation, some watch TV or a good movie etc. Human behavior is not only intriguing but amusing a good many times. Quote
