How Is It We Hear the Holy Spirit?

An example easy to catch is, say you got took in by a pretty lass or handsome feller and committed adultery.

Right away you know you are condemned for your sin, that is the Holy Spirit convicting you of sin.

Your conscience would convict you too if you built it right, but in this case even if you have built it that is as right for you as cats and dogs, I believe the Spirit will convict you and whether you respond in repentance is your choice,

"The office of the Holy Spirit is distinctly specified in the words of Christ: "When He is come, He will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment." John 16:8. It is the Holy Spirit that convicts of sin. If the sinner responds to the quickening influence of the Spirit, he will be brought to repentance and aroused to the importance of obeying the divine requirements.

Now did you notice of John 16:8 also "and of righteousness"!

So dear friends it stands to see then when one comes to any right understanding He also speaks to us!

He is always there in the mind heart and soul to guide you and we have not nurtured our senses of knowing His voice within that is not no an audible talking but a letting you know His influence to right or wrong. No it is not your conscience, you have developed that and it is something we must continue to keep up reform in righteousness as led of His Spirit.

Yes we are to work to have a perfected conscience and that is a work of a lifetime! I am sure that it will be in all that take part in the first resurrection.

Yes God is working on a building in each and everyone of us, as each of us that are His is a stone in the building of the Temple of God.

1Co 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

1Jo 4:4 ¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
