Do You Want Jesus to Come Soon?

The Need:

Our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ said that before He comes again, the gospel has to be proclaimed to all the world first:

Quote:
NIV Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

But why has He not returned yet? Many had correctly observed that for quite some time there are those who had grown tired of hearing Christ will soon come, claiming their grandfathers were still small children when they too heard their own grandfathers telling them the Saviour is even at the door. But why did not Christ come out of that door yet and return to this earth despite the almost non-stop preaching of the gospel since the time of the Reformers of the 16th century until now? For sure, there is a valid reason.

The Sad Reality:

The brand of gospel popularly proclaimed to the world is built upon a belief system that people are born separate from Christ. To be attached to the body of Christ, man must first exercise faith by believing in Him. But this requirement seems like a blatant disregard for what our Lord Himself said that while separate from Him man can do nothing.

Quote:
NASB John 15:5 "I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from Me you can do nothing.

NOTHING obviously includes the act of exercising faith. But almost all preachers of the Word teach this brand of gospel. It is this brand of gospel that had been proclaimed to the world. A gospel that goes against the teaching of Him Who is the embodiment of the gospel: Apart from Me, you can do NOTHING. But many evangelists through this brand of gospel indirectly tell people, you can do SOMETHING while apart from Christ – you can exercise faith to be attached to Him.

But how can that be possible when faith is fruit of the Spirit (Gal 5:22), and Christ has said only those who are attached to Him can bear fruit (John 15:4)? Preachers are in effect saying that while still apart from Christ, people already have the fruit called faith which they can exercise to be attached to Christ! Such is the gospel message that for long had been proclaimed to the world. No wonder Christ has not yet come because the brand of gospel that had been proclaimed to the world is an adulterated gospel.

The Dire Result:

The adulterated gospel gave rise to the message of exclusivity that only Christians compose the true Church, the Body of Christ. Adding to the melee is the more than 40,000 Christian groups each one claiming only their members compose this true Church, each group trying to shut each other out. Imagine how would a father of a dozen kids feel when each of his children proudly tells each other he is the only child of their father. And that is exactly the same scenario the preaching of the adulterated gospel had painted for our heavenly Father Who gave His Son to die for the world; not just for a specific group, but for all of us (Heb 2:9).

Quote:
KJV Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man

But there's a solution...

The Solution: The Pure Gospel

In a nutshell, the Pure Gospel is the Message of Reconciliation teaching people that we – Christians & non-Christians alike, were all born attached to the Body of Christ, because of what God, through Christ, has done for each one of us on the cross.

Sin separated us from God (Isa 59:2), and we were dead in sin (Eph 2:1). Being dead in sin, we cannot do anything good (Jer 13:23), like believing, repenting, etc. Left alone, we can do NOTHING to extricate ourselves from the condition we were in. Knowing we can do NOTHING unless attached to His Son (John 15:5), God sent His Son to this world, to give it life (John 6:33) and save sinners (1 Tim 1:15).

The wages of sin is death (Rom 6:23). Man must die to pay for his sin committed. But if man himself dies for his own sin, he would have paid for his sin God hates, but God would have eternally lost the sinner He loves, having died separate from Him. So God made a way that man may be able to pay for his own sin and at the same time be given hope of life eternal. On the cross, God, through Christ, made a new man: Christ the Head; humanity - Jews & Gentiles - the Body, with the intent of reconciling both Jews and Gentiles to Himself (Eph 2:11-19).

When the Head died, the Body died likewise (2 Cor 5:14, 15), and all sins were forgiven (Col 2:13, 14). In the process, we were all washed clean from sin (Rev 1:5), sanctified or made holy and perfect in His sight (Heb 10:10, 14), and we were all reconciled to God (Rom 5:10,11). When Christ the Head resurrected, we His Body were resurrected together with Him (Eph 2:4-5) and we were born again to a living hope (1 Pet 1:3). Led by the Holy Spirit (Rom 8:14; Phil 2:13), we are ready to live the life of an overcomer (Rom 12:21), under the terms of the New Covenant, with His laws written in our hearts and minds (Heb 10:16). Having been made alive attached to His Body, we can now believe, repent, decide to be baptized, etc., and do that which the Head wants the Body to do (Eph 2:10; Titus 3:8). We are able to do what the Head wants because we are attached to Him Who is our Strength (Phil 4:13). We believe, not to be attached, but because we have been attached to Him, empowered to bear the fruit of the Spirit (John 15:4,5; Gal 5:22,23).

When we commit any sin, the sin currently committed having been forgiven on the cross, is not imputed against us (2 Cor 5:18, 19). In fact, God had said He will remember our sins no more (Heb 10:17).

The act of not imputing any sin currently committed is God's act of continually justifying man through Christ, because He was raised for our justification (Rom 4:25) and propitiation for sins committed (1 John 2:1, 2). As High Priest in the heavenly sanctuary, He ever liveth to make intercession for us (Heb 7:25), justifying us whenever we commit any sin so that sin cannot have dominion over us anymore (Rom 6:14). We are then not burdened with sin in our lifetime as we fight the good fight of faith (1 Tim 6:12), and become overcomers in the end, for only overcomers will not be blotted out from the book of life (Rev 3:5), where our names were written before the foundation of the world (Eph 1:4; Rev 13:8). An overcomer is one who when faced with the opportunity to commit sin decides not to commit the same sin again, but instead, do that which is good and continues to emulate the example the Savior set by His lifestyle when on earth, because we are more than conquerors - overcomers - through Him Who loved us (Rom 8:37). When Christ returns to reward every man according to what each has done (Matt 16:27; Rev 22:12), the overcomers will be rewarded with life eternal; those who refused to overcome, having been blotted out from the book of life, will suffer the wrath of God and finally, thrown into the lake of fire (Rom 2:5-8; Rev 21:27; Rev 20:15).

This is the everlasting gospel that has to be proclaimed to all the world. And then Jesus will come (Rev 14:6-15).

Rom 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think [of himself] more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

The Bible never says you are born attached to Christ, but it does say you have a measure of faith. It is with that faith that you can choose to open the door to Christ and let Him in.

The fact that we can receive the faith God had given is PROOF we are attached to Christ, otherwise, we can do NOTHING good (John 15:5; Jer 13:23).

Bro jackson,

Samie,

I know you are not open to scripture that contradicts your personal beliefs, but i just wanted visitors to this thread to see what the scriptures actually say about the steps necessary to allow Jesus into one's heart.

Jesus never uses forced entry. You have to hear his voice and open the door.

Which entry is forced? If a person ALLOWS entrance for someone, is that forced? And who can ALLOW entry, the spiritually dead or the spiritually alive? Who can hear and open the door, the DEAD? No! Only the spiritually alive can do those good acts. You insist against Scriptures that the spiritually dead can do GOOD (Jer 13:23). Aren't you acting like a creator of spiritual ZOMBIES, brother?

I have shown you Scriptures where the Lord Himself says EXPLICITLY that while separate from Him, man can do NOTHING (John 15:5). Yet you refuse to believe Him and insist that while separate from Him man can do SOMETHING to be attached to Him. And because there is none in Scriptures that say it is possible to be attached to Christ by doing something, you misapply verses that are meant for the spiritually alive.

Man can believe, a good act, because he is already attached. The fact that we can now believe, repent, etc. is proof enough we had been attached to Christ and were made spiritually alive and empowered to do good (Phil 4:13). God, through Christ, did this for us on the cross (Eph 2:4-6; Co1 2:13). We just have no share in this, brother, despite your insistence. Now that we are attached, it's time to overcome evil by doing good (Rom 12:21). Otherwise, your name gets blotted out from the book of life (Rev 3:5) where our names were written from the foundation of the world (Eph 1:4; Rev 17:8).

Stop preaching a false gospel. Preach the pure one. Then, Jesus will come and reward the overcomers with eternal life. All others will be thrown into the book of life and finally, thrown into the lake of fire (Matt 16:27; Rom 2:5-11; Rev 20:15; 21:27).

In Christ,

Samie
