If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony.

Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?

Hahaha! We all know how true those statements are!

Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

True story:

Background: I am a military chaplain assigned to Panama. As such our military families have pastoral care available to them. I am on call. As such I screen calls for a Roman Catholic priest. It is midnight when my telephone rings:

Voice: I would like to speak to the priest.

Me: Before I get the priest out of bed I need for you to tell me the general subject that you wish to talk to him about.

Voice: I want to ask him if he will do my daughter's wedding.

Me: It is midnight. I suggest that you telephone him after 8 AM tomorrow at his office.

Voice: It is midnight. Tomorrow morning I will be asleep. I am awake now and I need to talk to him now.

Me: I understand your problem. I am not going to get him out of bed for this. You will need to find some way to telephone him during the time when he is awake if you wish to talk to him.
