Members phkrause Posted January 16, 2014 Members Posted January 16, 2014 I thought this was very interesting. http://www.aish.com/tp/b/st/Knowledge-vs-Faith.html Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
fccool Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Whoever wrote this is playing a word game. Knowledge is verifiable. Belief is not verifiable, and something you can't readily demonstrate. You believe that God exists because you can't demonstrate it outside of the scope of the belief. Faith is essentially a "strong" form of belief. If you really know that God exists and that Bible is true, you don't need to believe at all. Quote
