In our October meetings which are currently being conducted in Kurnool, 200

have thus far taken their stand for Jesus. Daily Bev and her group make

house to house visitations with each of the families in the villages.

However one Hindu lady refused to allow our group to come near her house.

She didn't even want their shadow to fall on her property. In front of her

house she had placed the heathen symbols each morning thinking these would

keep away the evil spirits so she didn't want them to come near.

With anger and fire in her eyes she made our Bible worker and other

neighbors to know that she wanted nothing to do with these foreign

missionaries. That night as the rain continued to fall, the walls of her

house collapsed and her roof fell in. In the process her wrist was broken.

The villagers just knew than that God was displeased with her and fear fell

upon the whole village because of this missionary God. They informed the

lady that her injuries were due to her not allowing prayer to be given for

her and her family.

The following day the missionaries went to the lady and examined her

injuries , and saw that the local doctor had done a very job of stabilizing

the broken arm. They prayed with her and left Rs 200 for her. The lady

was all SMILES and so happy that they had come. That evening the attendance

at the meeting was double from that village.

And only time will tell the end results of that incident.

During the last two nights, stories were told of salvation and the conflict

between good and evil. When Bev asked the audience about the symbolism of

the strings around their wrist, they admitted that it was a symbol of Satan

worship. She made an appeal for those that would like to come forward, that

she would be willing to cut these off with her scissors. (Bev just knows

that it was providential that she had her scissors with her that evening).

Many of the people came forward to have these cut off. As they were

cutting off these symbolism, they started to put them down on the table

where the equipment was, making the non Christian technicians very fearful.

So the strings were quickly gathered up. The driver who is a Moslem came

forward with matches to light a fire to burn these satanic symbolism. So we

had God's fire that evening.

The second evening when the call was again made, many children also came

forward to have their strings cut off. As a result of these meetings many

people began also taking their idols out of their houses to destroy them.

Last night the sermon was on death. The Moslem driver was so intent on this

presentation and expressed his appreciation of the topic.

Please remember these dear people in your prayers that they will remain true

to the God they now have learned about and not to allow Satan to pluck them

out of Jesus hand.
