Article 23.

Quote:
(1) Everyone has the right to work, to free choice of employment, to just and favourable conditions of work and to protection against unemployment.

(3) Everyone who works has the right to just and favourable remuneration ensuring for himself and his family an existence worthy of human dignity, and supplemented, if necessary, by other means of social protection.

(4) Everyone has the right to form and to join trade unions for the protection of his interests.

Where does the right to free choice of employment come from?

Rights are God given, entitlements by governments are not. Entitlements take rights from one group and passes that on to others

A wage is not based on what you determine you need, but what the job requirements are and how well you do them.

Quote:
Everyone has the right to rest and leisure, including reasonable limitation of working hours and periodic holidays with pay.

How has it been determined that holiday pay is a right?

Quote:
(1) Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control.

Taking the fruits of one's labor and giving it to others is not a right but an entitlement.

Everything you do is based on the choices you make. It's not your parents, your past relationships, your job, the economy, the weather, an argument, or your age that is to blame. You and only you are responsible for every decision and choice you make, period ... ... Wish more people would realize this.

Having worked the necessary amount of time under the social security act created under Franklin Delano Roosevelt, we paid into the government for the right to receive benefits after retirement until laid to rest. Since the last president has taken office, that right having been changed by the government to be an entitlement, can be stripped from all those who met their obligations, whenever they feel justified.

I would be happy to hear from any who can be so kind as to prove that conclusion to be false.

Thank the lord for this promise He has given to all those faithful to Him.
