Barely a week goes by without news of the latest extravagant celebrity nuptials – and the latest high-profile break-up. The supermarket tabloids are full of divorce and infidelity.

Well Tobiwan, your 44 years of marriage is definitely a vote of yes. It will be 43 years for us this Nov.

What's the point in trying to get married? No Western country really respects it as any kind of binding contract anymore; it's been reduced to nothing but a legal timebomb set to destroy every good thing people might have once aspired to do.

To be an agent of creation is to serve the Creator.

Isn't the success or failure of marriage up to the two individuals involved. The state cannot destroy a marriage

Everything you do is based on the choices you make. It's not your parents, your past relationships, your job, the economy, the weather, an argument, or your age that is to blame. You and only you are responsible for every decision and choice you make, period ... ... Wish more people would realize this.

The state (and its allies in the secular media) can however provide incentives to those who can destroy a marriage, and this has been done, forcing young people to be exceedingly cautious about getting together in the first place, if they're even trying to start a family and not just going the way of promiscuous hedonism.

Knowing, in advance, the kind of effort it's going to take to find and be attractive to someone who is trustworthy in the face of all that nonsense can be highly demotivating.

Young people should be cautious in choosing their life's partner.

Marriage has always required an effort.Of course there are different pitfalls today, but in the end it is between you and the one you choose to be your spouse

We can always find someone to blame for our failures but in the end,you choose who to marry and how successful that marriage will be.
