Moderators Kevin H Posted March 8, 2014 Moderators Posted March 8, 2014 1. Teach us to depend on our relationship with him and undo our tendency to want to depend on the institution of what ever church or religion we belong to. 2. Undo Seventh-day Adventist's neurotic need to prove to the world that we are good Baptists. 3. Undo our belief that we have to hold the Fundamentalists view of inspiration. 4. Undo our focus and dependence on theories of Theologians who have studied and built upon theories developed over the centuries rather than re-evaluate the text in the light of archaeology's rediscovery of the ancient world. Especially undo our belief that we need to read Paul through the eyes of Luther and Augustine instead of the events that Paul was facing in the first century. 5. Undo the outrageous cost of education. Undo the application of Mrs. White's counsel about teaching young people to work from an excuse to have cheap labor for cleaning and cooking in our schools, to along with academics, teach our children trades so that when they graduate from Academy they have a trade they can use right away and either build there, or use it to build on with continued education or to help them support themselves as they build their careers. 6. Undo our belief that the health message has to be extreme and taste yucky. 7. This one is sort of tongue in cheek, as what is happening is like the hardening of pharaoh's heart lead to the plagues that gave lessons about the 10 Egyptian gods they were focused on and that the children of Israel were able to go home... but to undo the globalist's agenda of the Super rich as implemented through the Federal Reserve/Council of Foreign Relations, and not have people be stock holders just because they are rich while paying the employees as little as possible, but to allow for the major stock holders to be the employees of businesses. Give us a joint presidency of Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich, who one more conservative and one more liberal, but united on their desire to follow the constitution instead of the globalist's agenda. However, despite the plagues that are going to come on the world, the ultimate result would be better than this improvement of the kingdom of this world, but we will enter the kingdom of King Jesus!!! Administrators Tom Wetmore Posted March 8, 2014 Author Administrators Posted March 8, 2014 Gerry, that is along the lines of the new song that I got the idea from. It reflects what I believe to be the Divine sense of justice, to undo the consequences of sin, fixing what is broken and damaged. Revelation says that the end of the age of sin will be God making all things new again. Resurrection is the undoing the terrible and final fate we all face as a result of sin, death itself. And Kevin, I think there is much truth in your tongue-in-cheek thoughts. We all need to undo a lot of thinking and practices that are heading us in the wrong direction or at least a long and winding path that is harder and takes longer than if we followed a better route. Administrators Gail Posted March 8, 2014 Administrators Posted March 8, 2014 I would agree with that. I was reminded last week at church that God's justice is not revenge but restoration of righteousness. Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

CoAspen Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Exactly the same thing He did the first time around.......undue the erroneous view of God being promoted by those that claim to follow God. Quote
